Photographer's Note

Bran is nested in a mountain pass between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului ranges, and during the 15th and 16th centuries was an important frontier town on the main road leading from Trasylvania into Wallachia.

Bran is also the end poin of several daring hiking trails across the Bucegi mountains.

Hi Dave,

at the first look I didn´t notice the little house in front. I suppose the castle in the background is the one of Dracula, so who the hell is living in the little house ? :D

I like the pov you chose here, the humble hut in foreground opposed to the majestic almost menacing castle in the bachground, great shot, TFS.
