St. George Church, located on Plaza Vasile Milea, is an architectural monument built in 1656 by Constantin Serban Voda and his wife, Lady Balasa, repainted between 1875 and 1876 by George Stoenescu, pupil of the famous painter George Tattarescu, is located in downtown .

Within storied building stands porch, considered an innovation in the architecture of Wallachia. The multi-layering porch was intended replacement bell, which is an unprecedented achievement feudal architecture.

Inside our attention iconostasis carved in lime wood by the skilful sculptor Babic, former professor at the school of Fine Arts in Bucharest, royal canopy above the door, which confers a unique status in Romanian Country.

Here he worked from around 1753 until the late nineteenth century, when it was organized Romanian public education, the oldest school in town "rule from St. George School."

St. George Church is the only remaining building of the old princely courts in Pitesti. This is the oldest church in the Romanian Country that is Super porch with a pavilion, brick columns, representing the bell tower.

Asta e proaspata, de ieri. Azi deja e cald si bine.
Frumoasa imaginea cu singura cladire normala din zona centrala (bine, mai e primaria, curtea de apel...cinema si zara).
Sa ai o saptamana frumoasa!
