Palace of the Orthodox Archdiocese of Vadul, Feleacului and Cluj
located on Avram Iancu Square
The Archdiocese of Vadului is an archbishopric of the Romanian Orthodox Church with a bishop's seat in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca. It was founded in 1921. As a suffragan of the bishopric of the Transylvania Metropolitan Church.

Cluj-Napoca is the fourth most populous city in Romania, and the seat of Cluj County in the northwestern part of the country.
As of 2011, 324,576 inhabitants lived within the city limits (making it the country's second most populous at the time, after the national capital Bucharest),

The history of Cluj-Napoca covers the time from the Roman conquest of Dacia, when a Roman settlement named Napoca existed on the location of the later city. The oldest human settlement near Cluj, dating from the Neolithic Age, is at Gura Baciului, near Suceagu, in the valley of a tributary of the Nadăș river and nearby the Hoia Forest. The settlement dates back to 6000–5500 BCE, making it the oldest in Transylvania.

A great photo of this grand building, I like its central tower in particular, as well as its mix of yellow and red colours, which look great in this sunlight. You included the fountains very well in the foreground.

Hello Piotr, Chose4n well the POV with the fountain in front of this palace.
It added good sense of depth to the composition, and picture has beautiful beige and red colors.

It's an elegant building and an elegant photo. The trees frame the view nicely and on the left you cropped the photo well just by the fountain. There is a fine light on the façade while the rest of the area is mainly shady.

Piotr, that palace houses the bishop's seat in Cluj. It doesn t look like a religious related building from outside. The construction is elegant and surrounded by gardens and fountains with water jets. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.
