Photographer's Note

A pair of nuns at the Barsana monastery of Maramures share the task of carrying a basket out to do their gardening.

She in gloves was clearly in charge of the project.

I liked the uninterrupted sea of neatly cut grass that makes up the center of the complex as a backdrop. I left the flowers in because everyone needs a goal to work towards.

Great shot,Clifton,really I like it,very well seen and nicely captured them and well manged the view in this frame with a great composition,nicely done!
Colors,contrast,sharpness,light and shadows ,..all are fine here.

Hi Clifton, An intersting way to play the sunlight. The sadow on the ground well contrast with the green grass. The two persons in dark makes a very well contrast on the top of the shadow. A well composed picture withe nice contrats and sharpness.

Hi Clifton, here you did a very good composition, with the nuns in movement, in the bottom left side (not centered), and in the top right corner, the pink flowers. The dark green shadow also helps to full the background. Very good work. Best regards.

I doubt their goal is really the flowers :). But it works as a composition. The black fabric against the green grass works well, gives this picture a pretty graphical touch.
