Looks like an old view.
I think the PP is a success.
The little girl looks like in a jail...

Hi Clifton, I like the well captured expression on this young lady's face. A nice use of the wide angle to show the beaten up environment and the height of the young girl. A well taken picture and good choice to use B&W for this picture.

Amazing photograph, Cliff! You have captured her private thoughts and the mood in a wonderfully straightforward manner. The bars, the reflection on window panes and her expression are just right. A great photo!

Strong composition and feeling here, Cliff. All that is wrong and not getting rughted in Romania is there for all to see. Judicious use of grain and darkish tones for good effect. Well done, Francis

This is good, Cliff, one of my favourites of yours. I can't grasp why she's so captivating. The b/w treatment is excellent.

This is fantastic Cliff - a spot on composition and such variety of detail in all of these shapes - lines everywhere but never cluttered and there framed between them a picture of innocence. Very beautiful and soulful image of childhood.
thanks Kev

Hi Cliff, at first I thought she was in jail! The b/w and noise are perfect for this gritty street scene. The young girl is icing on the cake because she looks so innocent. Nice work Cliff.

Hi Cliff,
A most effective daily life scene. The B&W format certainly works here. The girl is captured perfectly and her expression is neither one of woe or joy, so one is intrigued with her thoughts. I like the reflections in the various panes of glass. Very effective and evocative. Well done.

Hi Cliff, it's a cool pic, nice contrast and the girl's position in the frame works. It seems a little pixelated though, did you do any cropping of the original image?

hi clifton,
a rich compo, full of details.the grain effect works much for me,the level of flowers higher than the girl is nice to discover.and the eyetouch of the camera with the girl is a very soft touch, well done.

Intriguing picture! Girl's face is a bit worrying - looks like a scene from a stylish thriller. Great job!
