Photographer's Note

The Little Square (Piata Mica).
Two alleys that cross the Town Hall Tower connect the Great Plaza with the Small one. This fortified square was occupied by the best artisans in the city. Today they have been replaced by cafes, small shops and businesses. Ideal to rest while tasting a good beer.

La Pequeña Plaza (Piata Mica).
Dos callejones que atraviesan la Torre del Ayuntamiento comunican la Gran Plaza con la Pequeña. Esta plaza fortificada estaba ocupada por los mejores artesanos de la ciudad. Hoy han sido substituidos por cafés, pequeñas tiendas y negocios. Ideal para descansar degustando una buena cerveza.

Lep prolaz i kuce na trgu u danu sa kisom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.

Great use of the arch in the foreground, which adds a great contrast with the bright tones of the orange roofs and the yellow walls on the other side of the square. Well done.

Hello Luis,
This is a good composition where we see parts of the square through this big arch. The rain seems to have cleaned the colours, making them look very fresh and clear. Considering the obviously rainy day I suppose the nice blue sky is a result of processing.

Hello Luis, the arch makes a good frame for your view through to the square. The rainy day does not detract from the scene, as it actually reflects some of the coloured buildings onto the wet surface.
The people add to the view.

Hola Luis,

Yes, it does look like a good resting place, even when the weather is wet!
I like to see views through arches or windows, they add a sort of narrative to the scene as well as creating a very pleasing composition.
Though the weather is inclement, the bright colours of the buildings make it look welcoming.
You timed the photograph well, capturing the gent with the umbrella in a good, strong, compositional place.

Every pic tells a story good or bad! This is a well controlled colourful image and wonderful timing. Emphasis and focus is on details of the backdrop without losing features of the complementary arch. This also gives a lovely sense of location. Excellent capture

Today we are neighbours on TE.
You use the gate as arch and frame, this gives us a nice look through on the square.
Perfect detailed photographed.

fantastic composition with perfect use pf the arched passage to cover the rainy sky and add so much interest here. I like the wet pavements and the person with the umbrella it clearly indicates the rainy day.

despite the gloomy day a well lit image,. The reflections on the wet stones are very nice as are the people cris crossing the square

Pretty view under the arch of the picturesque houses on the square.
A rainy day but the cozy terraces are located under large umbrellas.
The cobblestones add to the charm of the square.

With low light prevailed and still done a fine photo, the old pavement was shining wet.
