Yesyerday, I was in Bucharest and had quite a meal in a Greek restaurant. Wonderful food because the ingredients are brought from Greece. Genuine taste right here! Anyway, I must visit Greece, maybe this summer...

Hello Daniel,
this reminds me of a remark we heard on our honeymoon trip to Crete:
"No food today, you're too fat!" said the waiter to the big cat.
The severe connotation is that nowadays in Greece, many people live on poor food due to the economical crisis, and some have problems to feed themselves at all.
The table remains empty.

The idea to use ordinary elements to create an eye-catching image, though simple and minimalist, was excellent and you completely succeeded in your attempt!
I love the colors, shapes, textures, light, vertical format, level of sharpness and composition, of course!

Original and observant use of the chairs to create a line into the shot. The contrast between the blue table cloths and the cobbles on the street as patterns is very effective. Nice detail observed.

Although I don't see much "cuisine" at these empty tables :-) it's a neat and attractive composition. Two chairs are standing properly but facing opposite directions, the chair between them is leaning against the table. The two tables with their Greek coloured cloths are placed on a diagonal and in the background the paving stones form very nice curves. A very well shot photo from a good POV.

Hi Daniel - You have a great eye for finding simple but effective subjects. This one is a good example. I like the narrow, vertical format and the way you have placed the tables across the frame. The curving pavement makes a very attractive background with the squares echoing the checkered tablecloths. Nicely seen and managed. Warm regards Rosemary

Really neat shot, don't know how I missed this one! Very observant eye to see this and compose it into a brilliant image. The checkerboard pattern of the tabletops and the circular pattern of the cobblestone is quite an eye-catcher! I really like that you've arranged it with a vertical format, which I think enhances the overall effect of the opposing features. Probably something most people would pass by and never notice or think to photograph...great visual and creatively executed. Bravo! Have a great week ahead.
