Photographer's Note

Unassuming view of lake Bohinj with one little secret (perhaps, only Slovenians can tell). This is the first shot you are most likely to make from the bridge of Ribcev Laz, but I liked the greenish color of the water. It is so clear that bottom can be seen easily. There are also swarms of trouts, not seen here. Electric boat will take you to Ukanc on the opposite side of the lake, from where you can take a cable car to Vogel (far left). The guide will appologise for his bad English, but in fact it will be excellent...

Your postings so far are all well made, fine lake landscapes in beatiful settings. This also go for this one. With such material there is no need for 'improving'. Still I did a little workshop, mostly 4fun and adding a little personal touch to it.

Lovely shot, great colours, saturation and sharpness.
Good composition, nice lines going from here and there.
I less like the boat on the left, which is so far left, that it is a bit disturbing. Would have loved it more to see that spot empty. But this is just my opinion, maybe other like that boat there.

I love the other little red boat though, it is nice in line with a reflection going from there to the lower right.
Well seen, nice sky.

Seems a great area to me. Been in Slovenia once, was only passing by though, on the way to Croatia. Now I see this, I would like to spend some more time there, maybe..once.

Great capture of one of my favorite areas in Slovenia. The composition really is perfect, it's nice that you were able to include these two boats in the shot.

You made me curious! What is the little secret? Interesting that you didn't achieve better visualization of the lakes bottom with the circ polarizing filter.
Are these real boats or just models?
