Photographer's Note
This shot is obviously inspired by "Wider view" by Tomi Pelicon but is very different. It shows port city of Koper and its bay in broad daylight with presence of strong wind. Between Koper and Isola the road goes along the shore of Koper bay, and travellers may admire splendid azure color of Adriatic sea. There are also two parallel paths - one for roller-skaters and cyclists, another for walkers, separated by a long row of trees. From there you can admire Koper panorama and bay full of sailboats and surfers. Some people are also having a swim, though probably it is not the best place for that, with Koper port on the right side and busy road behind your back. Interestingly, majority of people on the road are driving to Portoroz. Big mistake, I would say. Isola has better and cleaner grass beach and is less crowded. You may take right turn to Isola at the end of this promenade, and turn right again shortly for parking. Or if you want some serious sightseeing, it makes more sense to go to Piran - jewel of medieval architecture. (Turn-off to Piran is shortly before Portoroz).
With auto evaluative metering this photo had tree underexposed and everything else grossly overexposed. Therefore I made pseudo-HDR from one RAW image, producing digital exposure compensation with Raw Image Task. Shots with 0EV, -0.5EV and -1EV were combined with Photomatix Pro, with subsequent adjustment of levels, brightness and contrast. I used "directional sharpen" after resizing because (I think) it looked better than USM.
Hope you will like it. :-)

Hi Vilius,
Nice view. Good colors and clarity you have here ...
Good idea using the tree to make a shelter for the town.

Ciao Vilius!
posso scrivere in italiano?
probabilmente capisci.
Bello! (farà invidia a Tomi? :-)))

Bonsoir Vilisu,
Une très belle vue avec cet éclairage particulier sur l'arbre en premier plan. Très bonne profondeur et grande netteté même dans le lointain. Du très beau travail !
