Photographer's Note

A view of the road that from Bovec leads to Kranjska Gora through the Vrsic Pass. Several kilometers of narrow, winding road from the valley of Soca river to the 1611 m a.s.l. of the Vrsic Pass, in the national park of the Triglav. I was there with the car and already had a lot of fun, but with the bike it is wery well known to be a pleasant and demanding road.

At the Vrsic Pass you can also visit the "Russian Chapel". This road was in fact built during WWI by Russian POW, under extremely harsh conditions, to allow supplies to Austro-ungarian troops.

Technical: polariser; very slight neat-image, I wanted to preserve the grain of the tarmac and the woods, so there is still some noise in the sky. Resized, added some saturation and sharpness.
