Photographer's Note

Celje is the third-largest city in Slovenia. It is a regional center of the traditional Slovenian region of Styria and the administrative seat of the City Municipality of Celje (Slovene: Mestna občina Celje). The town of Celje is located below Upper Celje Castle (407 m or 1,335 ft) at the confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Ložnica, and Voglajna rivers in the lower Savinja Valley, and at the crossing of the roads connecting Ljubljana, Maribor, Velenje, and the Central Sava Valley.

Hello Piotr,
This is a nice photo with plenty of fine buildings in a beautiful scenery. You placed the river well on a diagonal, with opposing diagonals created by the dam. There are nice reflections in the lower right part. The colours are generally very good and your Slovenia map is getting more impressive with every new photo. ;-)

czec Piotrze, Tez ładne miejsce i mi nieznane. Może w przyszłym roku sie wybiorę? Chciałam jechać w tym roku do Czarnogóry lub Bośni, ale te wycieczki, na które miałam chęć chyba odwołali i w rezultacie wybrałam Grecję. I nie żałuję.

Hello Piotr,

You made good use of the weir, crossing the river, acting not only as a separation line but, also, drawing our attention to the reflection in the relatively still water.
You have included some fine buildings in the photograph, nicely positioned, with the castle, high on the hill, the crowning feature!

Czesc Piotr,
Wyglada na to ze jednak zrobiles porzadny objazd tego interesujacego kraju. Nawet nie slyszalem o tym miescie! Urocza kompozycja. Trudne swiato ale ladny efekt koncowy.
Ja rowniez stworzylem link do swojej mapy Szwecji... Ciekawe ze ze strony glownej nie da sie na nie wejsc ale gdzies tam istnieja. Co wiecej jesli najedzie sie kursorem na nazwe regionu to kolor sie tymczasowo wyswietla.
Przynajmniej lista jest wyraznie widoczna ale i tak nie rozumiem dlaczego nie da sie tej listy podlinkowac. Ci administratorzy nie maja chyba zadnych IT skills.

A town that I haven't visited.
I notice that all buildings have been constructed with their front facade into the same direction, towards the river.
In the distance we also spot beautiful buildings high on top of the wooded hill.
Very attractive composition. Nice with the reflected church in the water.
