Córdoba was a Roman settlement, then colonized by Muslim armies in the eighth century. It became the capital of the Islamic Emirate, and then of the Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula. It was recaptured by Christian forces in 1236, during the Reconquista. The historic centre was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Córdoba has the highest summer temperatures in Spain and Europe, with average high temperatures around 37 °C

Splendid view over this most beautiful city that I had the pleasure of visiting in May of last year. Your high vantage point encompasses lots of interesting things whilst the bridge makes an excellent lead-line toward the city. Very well realised with fine colours and clarity.

The walls of what I guess is an old fortress frame the attractive view of the city very nicely. The bridge leads my eyes towards the many beautiful buildings. It is a well composed photo with excellent colours and clarity.

Bonjour Sergio,

Je me souviens très bien de cet endroit et surtout de ce pont mythique, mais jamais je ne l'ai vu de ce point de vue absolument superbe avec les beaux bâtiments de la ville en arrière plan.

La vista de los edificios en tonos casi dorados es maravillosa, y este camino que nos lleva los ojos hacia ellos le da a la imagen una muy buena profundidad. Me gusta el encuadre, y también los bonitos colores del cielo. Excelente trabajo!

Hello Sergio, a great point of view that shows us so much of Cordoba; we only got views from ground level when we were there.The stone walls either side frame the view perfectly.

he visitado cordoba por dos veces, pero no me parece que he conocido todo como deveria. talvez porque no tenia una camera digital y la memoria sin fotos no es tan farta. hermoso ese punto de vista clássico con el puente y la catedral.

il n'y a peu d^'eu dans la rivière et toute cette végétation quel cadrage avec la roche de chaque côté quelle vue de ce pont centré et sa route et en fond toute l'étendue de la ville et ces édifices sueprbe.

The road leads my eye toward the town which is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings and of the church. The light is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice dya.

I remember the bridge and the view of the city of course but I don't have an idea from where you took this picture. I cannot recall there was the possibility to visit a tower at this side of the river.
Beautiful with the many white houses on the right next to the cathedral and other buildings with their stone colour.
The cathedral towers nicely above the city.
