Photographer's Note
No, not McDonalds, but the vaulted arches on the ceiling of part of the Mezquita in Cordoba, also known as the Great Mosque, dating from Moorish times before all of Spain became Catholic in 1492 AD. I initially was going to load the workshop as a main post for its nice repetitive patterns.

Hello Chris,
A location that is immediately recognisable, even in the thumbnail. I like this point of view looking through the repeating columns; the people at the far end supply a good focal point. Well exposed with agreeable warm tones and very good sharpness.

Bonjour Chris,
Le corridor envoie mon regard au loin ce qui crée de la profondeur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'intérieur de la Mezquila. J'apprécie l'effet d ela lumière sur les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
A wonderful ceiling and long corridor.
Depth and perspective make your picture attractive.
Composition and presentation are pleasant to look at.
Very well done, TFS.

Hello Chris,
It's an overwhelming building and the light falls very gently into most of it. You could hardly avoid a slight overexposure just below the windows as long as the rest of what we see is perfect. The architectural details are fantastic and it serves the composition well that there are a few persons seen near the far end, but it's not at all crowded.
Regards,
Gert

Bonjour Chris,
J'ai eu le plaisir de visiter cet endroit fantastique. Il y a de quoi faire avec cette multitude de colonnes bien alignées. Le plafond aussi est superbe.
Amicalement

Hello Chris, you seem to have had a better light for your photography than when we were there; I remember it being quite dark.
And it wasn't as crowded either, so you were able to get some good views without hordes of people.
Both shots well worthy of main posts.
What an amazing place!
Regards Jean.

Hi Chris
One of the world's most amazing places and you've managed it without too many people (early start?) A good view despite the lens distortion.
cheers

Hello Chris,
Your association with a McDonalds is justified.
I think it has failed to give the ceiling an extra golden sheen by the illumination.
Perhaps photography here distorts reality a bit, but this is too much gold to me.
Then I prefer the wonderful tangle of arches in the workshop.
Excellent presentation
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hi Chris
What set of warm colors due to the sun light. Your shot is tilted, you see it looking at the top line of the ceiling. Due to your position the arches seem larger at the bottom than the top. I just propose you a WS with the "normal" viex
Cheers

chris
fortunately the kings and authorities had the great idea to preserve part of the structure and use it as a cathedral. the result was something curious and beautiful. I remember my two visits of the place.
take care
