Photographer's Note
Now that's an amazing work of architecture, like in all Andalucia!
_________
The Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba is the Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Córdoba dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and located in the Spanish region of Andalusia. The structure is regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Moorish architecture.
According to a traditional account, a small Visigoth church, the Catholic Basilica of Saint Vincent of Lérins, originally stood on the site. In 784 Abd al-Rahman I ordered construction of the Great Mosque, which was considerably expanded by later Muslim rulers. Córdoba returned to Christian rule in 1236 during the Reconquista, and the building was converted to a Roman Catholic church, culminating in the insertion of a Renaissance cathedral nave in the 16th century.

Hello Daniel,
The architecture is attractive and you handled the sparse light very well. I like just as much the silhouettes of the visitors. I see lots of nice heads. ;-)

Gert

Hello Daniel,
You handled the magical light so well here. I really like the silvery tones of the door and the silhouettes of the people in front of it. The golden touches add a fine contrast.

Hi Daniel
Beautiful low light interior image and sense of space to it. I like how the eye is taken straight to the well illuminated artistic wallart combined with the crowd of silhouetted figs. It looks sharp even with the low exposure and superb colour rendition. Beautiful architecture, well done shot.
Best regards

Hi Daniel
It looks like you were there after 9 am when they let in the tour groups. It is very peaceful earlier.
Good silhouettes of the group of people and very different to the usual Mezquita photos.
cheers

Hello Daniel, Mezquite in Cordoba is really magnificent. Interesting composition but we can't appreciate the beauty of it in full, it is a bit too dark.
Have a nice weekend

Hello Daniel
Nice view of the inside of The Mosque–Cathedral with a lot of people.
The scene captured under very difficult light but the result is excellent.
Perfect composed image.
Kind regards

Hi Daniel, with this fascinating and very enjoyably graphic 'chiaroscuro' you really managed to convey some essence of the Mezquita (over the years I visited it two times). Very well done ! Best regards, Bert.
