Hi Carlos,
This pic recalls me of a guy I saw yesterday at the swimming pool. He had been amputed under the knee and was walking around with a prothesis. I wondered how he would do to swim like this, and I was amazed to see how fast he could swim only with his arms. Being disabled mustn't be a fun thing for sure, and these people should be examples for many of us.
I like the determination in their expression. Well done !

I've enjoyed this series of your photos, Carlos, and this is no exception. Great colours and composition - I like the way the guy in the foreground looks directly at you. Wish I had a fraction of their talent as swimmers!

I have trouble swimming at all - this photograph fills me with admiration for these guys - I really like your composition here which at once shows us the extent of this man's disability but much more his strength and competitive edge and the engagement of the guy looking towards the camera means you see them first as human beings not labelled in any way as different - from a more abstract point of view I just love the combinations of colours and shapes produced by the composition too.
best wishes Kev

You have been posting this series while I have been away; as you say it is a refreshing change from landscapes. I've picked out this as my favourite. I like the composition; there are no background distractions. I like the (almost) symmetry of the men in the water and the colours (coincidence that one man's swimsuit matches the lane marker :o) ). I also like the fact that one of them is looking at the camera but not posing.
Well done Carlos.
