Photographer's Note
Malaga has a most fantastic market, one of the best I have been to. There is fantastic choice of foods, and this wonderful stained glass window. It has had many incarnations, originally a shipyard, then a convent,a military fort, a hospital and a medical school. In 1868 the government ordered it to be pulled down. Its current name is Ataranzas which is from the Arabic and old Castellano which means a shipyard. Only one of the original entrance arches remains.

Hi David
Fascinating architecture, I would never guess that this is part of market building. I like the colours and the graphic look of your image.

Hi David,
Fantastic big stained glass artwork. It represents well the history of this city. Your close upwards angle works well. It would be fun to see such artworks more often, also with other than religious themes.

Hello David,
I remember this market in Malaga with of course a lot of fish specialties.
On one side you will find several beautiful stained glass windows like the one you show here.
Excellent colourful and sharp presentation.
Best regards, Paul
