Photographer's Note
The Royal street is the main street of Historic Segovia and runs from the Aqueduct to the Alcázar. It is divided into the following sections: Cervantes; Juan Bravo (in memory of the Segovian community captain); Plazuela del Corpus (in which the old Main Synagogue, today the church-convent of Corpus Christi); and finally, Isabel la Católica, from where we lead into the Plaza Mayor. This street received the name of Cintería in its beginnings, as it was a dispatch of threads and tapes.
The Calle Real Segoviana, contains an interesting architectural complex dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, until the beginning of the 20th. The medieval farmhouse was typical, with up to four floors with the ground floor dedicated to commerce and, to one side, a narrow staircase, in the Muslim style, to access the houses. This urban typology is preserved today, but its original facades of poor materials were covered with sgraffito from the 19th century.
A few meters away is La Casa de los Picos, today the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Trades. This interesting building is not named as a tribute to the impulse that the Presenter of the Calle Real Magazine has given to the Segovian Restaurants with his visits :-), but because one of its owners added the peaks so that it would not continue to be known for "the House of the Jew ”.

Hola Luis,
An excellent take with the view through the narrow street, typical architecture and good sight of the church bells-tower prominently above.
Tourists and local people, most of them wearing red...enliven the scene.
Buenas tardes,

Hello Luis,
Nobody could say that people wearing red clothes don't brighten a street view. Here you have several of them, but also nice buildings including the old towers in the background. The buildings on both sides frame the view perfectly and you don't seem to have had any problems to handle the probably quite strong contrasts of bright and shady parts.
Best regards,
Gert

Hola Luis,
This has to be opened in a New Tab to appreciate all the details at once.
Your selected viewpoint offers a fine lead between the buildings, which look tall and impressive, leading to even more impressive buildings in the b/g. The church tower looks especially grand, bathed in warm sunlight.
You were extremely fortunate to encounter so many figures dressed in red, all heading in the same direction. The make your photograph extra lively and colourful.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hola Luis,
beautiful capture of the royal street. At the end we can spot some interesting buildings appearing.
Pleasant light with the main part of the street in the shade but facades on the left are very well lit by the sunshine.
People are colorfully dressed which adds a nice touch too.
Excellent street capture,
M

Hello Luis,
It is a charming street with care-free pedestrians - unaware that their world would change the following winter.

Hello Luis,
A very nice view of the street with a nice play of lights on the façades, which also lead the eye nicely towards the tower in the background. The people add a lively and pleasant mood.

Hello Luis,
Beautiful and colourful street scene with lots of warm tones.
Nice view of the church at the end of the pedestrian street.
I remember the Casa de los Picos. More places in Spain have buildings with unusual facades, such as the Casa de las Conchas in Salamanca.
Best regards, Paul
