Another angle of the Alcazar, a photo from Segovia, Castilla y Leon

Photographer's Note

The image of the Alcazar has been around the world: a unique castle with the appearance of a fairy tale palace, which brings together architectural tastes of different monarchs and tells palatial stories to all those who come to know it.
Austere, as were the Castilian kings, raised on the rock at the confluence of the valleys of Eresma and Clamores, it seems to guard the city.

His beautiful Tower of Homage, often compared to the prow of a ship sailing between rivers, is breathtakingly beautiful. Tourists admire that the fortress is a living part of this Castilian city, chosen as a place of residence by many of the monarchs of the Trastamara dynasty.

La imagen del Alcazar ha dado la vuelta al mundo: un singular castillo con apariencia de palacio de cuento de hadas, que aglutina gustos arquitectónicos de distintos monarcas y relata historias palaciegas a todos aquellos que se acercan a conocerlo.
Austero, como lo eran los reyes castellanos, elevado sobre la roca en la confluencia de los valles del Eresma y el Clamores, parece guardar la ciudad.

Su bella Torre del Homenaje, a menudo comparada con la proa de un barco navegando entre los ríos, es de una belleza impresionante. Los turistas comprueban admirados que la fortaleza forma una parte viva de esta ciudad castellana, elegida como lugar de residencia por muchos de los monarcas de la dinastía Trastámara.

Hello Luis,
Here is another fantastic "fairytale" castle, looking almost too good to be real. The sculpture (?) of arrows provides an unexpected but very good foreground. But most of all it's the fine light, sharpness and good colours that make this such an attractive photo.

Hello Luis, I love the way that you have used the metal barrier with the pointed arrows in the foreground, they make a very unusual feature to your view of the castle.
Excellent sharp quality.
The bright light illuminates all the details beautifully.
You obviously had a great trip to Segovia judging by your excellent pictures.

A great photo of the castle. I really like the pattern on the walls, which you captured so well and clearly, just as the elegant round towers. The iron fence is well included in the foreground and adds a nice contrast.

I've always found these slender turrets so beautiful.
The sharp points of the fence form a special foreground, like spears aimed at the castle.

wow this is such a beautiful composition. First of all I really like the stylish turrets. They are so photogenic and set against the glorious blue sky. The whole image is crispy sharp. Simply a beautiful photograph. I like the inclusion of the steel ornament in the foreground as a framing and decoration as well.

I like this!
You have used the spear-headed fencing posts as very effective decorative features, in a very original way. Yet, they do not obscure the castle, they fit in with its character.
It’s a very good, sharp exposure.

It looks like something from a fairytale and impenetrable castle that fires my imagination. Gently appealing subject matter captured in great colour and contrast.

Sincerely imho, the fence is quite dominant which tends to pull the eye away hence distracting from main interest - changing your viewpoint is the best option.
