Photographer's Note
We all take a lonely bench picture sometimes, I found two benches that are lonely together.
This was found at the North Campus of the technical university in Barcelona. This campus was built in a short period around 1990 and has a fine monumental modern brickwork archtecture that I found appealing.
The color of the bricks tended to dominate so I choose B&W instead to enhance the play of the surfaces.

Lonely together. Isn't that a paradox or oxymoron of some kind :-)
Nice shot. I like the walls rising up in symmetery. I agree with the choice of colour here. Had it been in colour, the benches would not have been noticable, unless of course you had cropped out most of the wall. But this is just fine.

Smashing photo! The agressive look of the buildings (size, shape and textures) really smash the small delicate benches!
Excelent choice for BW. I only feel the benches a bit too bright and sharpened. A softer image on them would increase the effect you're after.

Moody..lonely...I love it. Nice choice of black white and nice framing. The brick walls looks intimidating against the benches.

Very good shot Ebbe.
Simple and attractive composition, good choice on the B&W.
I like the feeling of the small benches against the high walls.
Well done.
I would crop the left a bit and tone down the sharpness of this shot, I think it would be better soft. See my workshop.

Ebbe Rosell, it's so simple to make a photo!! But one thing you must see it, you must think as a painter. You are a painter. A painter with your camera and your computer. You did here very good work. Why?? Because you saw it.
Nice cropping to.

Excellent B&W Ebbe. I really like the bottom half, perhaps without the top, but the whole pic makes for interesting shot too with the tall long lines. Well done again.

I like the capture of scale in this photograph. It doesn't seem like something that would be as large as it apparently is until you see the benches at the bottom. What look like balcony railings on the building seem too large, then. It's a very interesting building and the lack of being able to actually pick out a scale is great. Added to this is the lack of anything natural in the photograph. A totally man-made environment to get lost in. Wonderful!
