And every spring, again, the spectacle ... the cherry trees in flower.

Every year, in this epoch, the vallenses celebrate the appearance of the flower organizing activities in the different peoples of the region. It is probably the only occasion in which the entire Vale is of holiday. There is organized multitude of exhibitions, tastings, verbenas, regional dances, routes, careers and other many performances. The different date every year, although it usually coincides with some days of the second fortnight of March.

But the nature does not attend to the caprices of the human beings and not always the full flowering coincides with the holiday of the cherry tree with flower. The climate influences notably and the delay or advance they can be significant. If the temperatures are high the flower soon is discovered. If, on the contrary, the time cold stays, it is possible to produce an important delay. It is convenient, since, to be attentive, since the full flowering usually lasts a few days, and is in this precise moment when it is necessary to throw oneself to the adventure, be a weekend or day of newspaper.

The cherry tree in flower in the Vale of the Jerte is something more than an event, a temporary period or a tradition, it is a vital experience. The cherry tree in flower recalls the ancestral rite in which the humble man, the farmer, expresses his happiness and gives thanks to the mother ground for the imminent arrival of the next crop. Every spring, this expression of exhilaration accompanies itself of an authentic explosion of beauty. The happiness is felt in the people, is felt in the ground.

The flowering of more than one million cherry trees, it turns this space into a dyed paradise of target.

Once a year and for only a few days the Vale of the Jerte sees like his hills turn out to be covered with snow of white flowers. When they start eliminating the snow of the summits, another target spreads over his hillsides, the pure and aromatic target of the flower of the cherry tree. This miracle is one of the best gifts that the nature can offer us every year.

Hola Charo:

Exelente foto, el contraste de la flor de durazco onctra la pared de la casa es muy buena, me gusta mucho los colores y los demas arboles en el fondo de la foto, el ceilo es un poco nublado loq ue hace que se pierdad, un poco el contraste de las flores, tal vez si le agregases un marco negro como acostumbro a hacer a mis fotos tendrias mas contraste. Sinembargo la foto es muy bonita, si yo estuvuiese ahi, me imaginaria que estoy en un cuento de hadas o que esta nevando. Ademas si le agregamos el contraste del color de la puerta lo hace meor. Al fondo a la derecha puedo ver un poco de azul creo que es un lago, me encanta descubrir cosas como esta, hace la foto mas interesante con sutilez belezas como estas.

Realmente es muy buena.

Bona nit Charo,
nos presentas un hermoso y sencillo rincón donde se respira naturaleza. El POV es muy acertado, con los cerezos en flor y la casa de piedra . Sorprendente definición de imagen y excelentes colores, y es muy cierto que la floración de los cerezos es un espectáculo maravilloso y único, salvo para los pobres alérgicos ;-)

Vraiment magnifique ce vieux cerisier qui fleurit encore. Très jolie aussi la vieille bâtisse de pierres entourée de cerisiers et la porte verte qui ajoute de la couleur à la photo. Ici les cerisiers fleurissent en mai. Belle prise de vue et bonne composition.

I suppose also you have favorite themes that you try to catch but till now you could not shoot with full satisfaction. I have them too and I am glad to see that you were capable to photograph a blooming tree with a rural hut where the flowers convince us of the vigour of the nature while the hut represents something human made solid and stable.
