UPDATE: I think that the "star" on the right is actually a planet: Saturn. Can anyone confirm?

Last night, the Earth, the (full) Moon and the Sun formed a perfect line. That produced what we call a total moon eclipse. It could be seen from Western Europe and the Eastern Americas. I was so lucky that after a day with some clouds, the night was perfectly clear.
The Moon, which was in the Leo constellation, let us see the stars thanks to its dim light. In the WS, a wider view of the sky with more stars visible (and many others too small to be appreciated this size).
Photographing the eclipse was a real challenge. On the one hand, because it started after 1am and finished at 5am... And on the other hand, my equipment isn't the best for this kind of shots: no cable release and a cheap tripod weren't the best of situations. I've taken lots of photos of the Moon, but never with long exposures like here, so this was a new situation. All in all, I'm happy with the results and I don't regret having slept so little, because the view was worth it :-)
Edition consisted of levels to bring out the stars and curves to brighten up the moon a little bit, plus the logical resizing, cropping and sharpening.

Esta noche la Tierra, la Luna (llena) y el Sol estuvieron perfectamente alineados produciendo un eclipse total de luna. Fue visible en Europa occidental y América oriental. La suerte fue que después de un día con algunas nubes, la noche nos trajo un cielo totalmente despejado.
La Luna, que está en la constelación de Leo, nos deja ver las estrellas a su alrededor gracias a su luz apagada. Como WS he subido una visión más amplia del cielo con más estrellas visibles (y otras que no se aprecian a este tamaño).
Fotografiar el eclipse fue un auténtico reto. Por un lado, empezaba después de la 1 de la noche y terminaba alrededor de las 5... Por otro lado, mi equipo no es el mejor para estos cometidos: carecer de cable disparador y tener un trípode baratito no es la mejor de las situaciones. He sacado muchas fotos de la luna, pero nunca con exposiciones largas como aquí, así que la situación era nueva para mí. Pero al fin y al cabo, estoy contenta con los resultados y no me arrepiento nada de haber dormido tan poco: el espectáculo valió la pena.
La edición consistió en Niveles para destacar más las estrellas y algo de curvas para que la luna estuviera un poco más iluminada; y por supuesto recorte, tamaño y enfoque.
