300mm and macro.

This is the Jardinet dels gats where abandoned cats are safe and can be adopted as pets by their new owners.
A friend asked to me to make a few photos there and this one was one of that pictures.

It's not a pet.
It's not a wild cat.
It's a poor what has been abandoned and now has a new house and waits for a new owner.

Yo tengo una foto muy parecida, no la subí porque en mi caso sí es mascota, pero es exactamente la misma composición. Creo que me gusta más la versión en color en este caso, impresionantes los ojos de los felinos, verdad?
Y gran idea las casas de acogida para animales, por ellos y por la seguridad vial también, tener una mascota no debería ser un capricho de un mes.

hola carlos,
what a fantastic close-up of this fierce feline eye!
I am writing this as one of my two cats is looking at me from the end of the table... surely wondering whose cat this eye belongs to :)
I love the title - it's really funny :)
PS: I had a look at the website, it seems very similar to what some volunteers do here in Amsterdam - they rescue cats from the street and try to find them a home. many of them have feline HIV, which they caught on the streets, and need a lot of attention. but all of them are beautiful and loving cats.
I think it's great that people dedicate their time to these poor stray cats. thanks for the link!

Tira bien el 70-300 de Sigma, tengo yo algunos primeros planos similares a este en el Zoo de Madrid, y con luz, da muy buenos resultados.

La foto es chula, para imprimirla en grande, incluso para anunciar un Safari por Kenia, menudo gato, parece una leona.

impressionant aquest pla tancat utilitzant la màxima focal del teu objectiu per aconseguir un efecte macro realment atractiu a la vista, i una nítida imatge plena de detalls.
M'agrada la història que expliques a la nota, d'aquest "Jardinet dels gats" que dóna esperança i vida a les pobres mascotes víctimes de la crueltat d'algunes persones(?).

Creo que los ojos te atraen mucho, sabes cuando vivia en Salamanca pense en hacer una serie de fotos de ojos, pero por una u otra razon nunca lo lleve acabo, que bueno que tu si lo hiciste. Esta composicion es mejor que la de b&n, el ojos y la liena negra es extraordinaria, lo que a mi gusto podrias cortar son llos vigotes y la nariz que salen desenfocados, sinembargo es una exelente foto, felicidades Sr
