The countryside around Olvera is dotted with ruins, not necessarily ancient or significant but interesting. This ruined complex sits on a hill just to the east of the town and would have enjoyed great views.
Unfortunately there was no access for exploring them.

Pozdrav.
Lep pogled i trenuitak, dobar tekst ...
Lepa a i stara arhitektura, dobro poakznao sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trentkom sa oblacima koji dilaze i najavljuju promenu vremena.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Ostala je rusevina i secanje.
Zelim vam lepo popodne, sve najbolje.

Hi Ian
Interesting old stone ruins atop the verdant hill at left. I would have circled around that ravine to the left and found a way up there. That's what I did to reach Adilcevaz Citadel in Turkey. Had the entire site to myself for hours. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
Magnificent landscape and in early spring Andalusia still looks green.
It is indeed not always ancient ruins that you see.
Many houses or farms were abandoned because the residents wanted to build a better life in Madrid or Barcelona.
This looks a bit like a morning picture with some haze in the background. Good perspective.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Ian,beautiful very green scenery during this early springtime with the bonus of the ruins on the left. A real shame not to be able to visit them, but they still dominate the scene as a sign of the power of a late past, top quality as always.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ian,
Regardless how old those ruins may be they have a great location, at least seen from this side. I wonder if there was ever any human settlement on the other hill. It's an enchanting scenery with very pleasant colours.

Hi Ian,
The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the ruins and of the mountains. The cloudy sky does not hurt the colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
It must have been very annoying that you were unable to access these ruins to explore them. They were certainly sitting on a fine viewpoint!
Still, just to see them from a distance, makes a very interesting photograph and you have composed the scene well, with the ruins strongly situated off centre.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian,
Lovely landscape with these rocky hills well placed in the foreground in front of the hazier landscape in the distance. The ruins stand out well from the sky as well.

Hi Ian,
Beautiful landscape with some ruins as well. Again I am impressed by how many spots you have managed to visit on your trip there. I missed so many of them even though I have been in Andalusia almost 3 weeks.
Nice light and colors,
M

Hello Ian,
The special shaped mountains, like "tables" above the valley far beyond, made the sight very attractive here.
The ruins indicate life in past era over there.
Good evening,
Ike
