Photographer's Note

This is a view of another lovely beach in the southeast Lanzarote. Playa de la Cera is the next beach to the north from Playa del Papagayo. La Cera means the wax in Spanish. I have no idea where the name came from. On this beach I spent few hours before the noon. I liked it more than Playa del Papagayo. I didn’t want to leave. There were fewer people, more transparent water, although the waves were higher. We met there our Polish friends from the UK which added a social aspect to it.
In this photo you see the back side of the beach with the volcanic landscape behind.

As noticed by Paul in the previous photo, also here there are some people walking away from the beach. I am not sure whether these are hiking enthusiasts or they are in search of a toilet. Nevertheless the distribution between the hikers and beachgoers leans towards the beachgoers.
