A new road, a new way...

Where is the end of this way? Where goes this one?
I know where goes it. It goes to "el Robledal" (it means oakwood), but I am not sure if we know we are we going or we go our owns ways.
In some way (sorry, sure that you don't understand nothing about I am saying) I am searching my own way. And today I've found what could be a new way... But I know that is not what I was wanting. Even I don't know where is the end or where goes this new possible way... but if I can, I must take it.

Returning to a "normal" note. It was a rainy day in the best place of the world-wide world (as "Carlos dice" says). Of course, I am talking about Quintanilla del Coco.
The floor was wet and was a dark morning. That day I didn't thought in my bicycle, I make a long walk, a long and nice walk with my camara.

Do you know how is the smell of the wet floor?

Carlos, un tema estupendo con una escena dramatica muy conmovedora. Me gusta el contraste y los tonos oscuros de el camino y ademas la vista es extraordinaria sin tener final alguno.

Hi Carlos,
Yes, I like this shot very much. Despite the low light conditions, you achieve a real ambience here consistent with your note. The path goes on endlessly and invitingly, but we know not where it will take us. I am reminded of Robert Frost's poem "Two Roads Diverged In A Yellow Wood." The DOF here is very good also, as one can cast an eye over endless fields and wood. I think there is in everyone who loves the land a romantic streak of hearkening back to the days when we could roam the land freely and it was unpolluted by Man and congestion. Very well done, Carlos. I am with you.

The low light and subdued colours seem to reflect your mood (from your note). Excellent composition and depth.

Sí conozco ese olor, es mi favorito. Chico, no sé que trabajo te habrá salido pero espero que lo lleves con más humor que esta foto, bonita por otro lado, con un cielo con relieve, un camino recto y prometedor, y yo que pensaba que en Burgos no hay árboles. Que paleto que soy. Al menos el camino es recto.

Bonito paisaje, como no, Quintanilla again and for ever! El tiempo no te acompañó, seguro que con un cielo azul, con nubes blancas esparcidas, y un solete que anima, tendría otro aire y por supuesto, otra lectura.
Desde mi humilde opinión (o como dicen por aquí IMHO), en este tipo de vistas me gustan verlas en apaisado, ya lo he dicho en más de una crítica mía por ay, pero en este caso, te salvas por la verticalidad del camino... ya que por mi, con un poco menos de cielo, también hubieras salido airoso.
Espero que encuentres tus caminos (a veces son varios en paralelo..., todo se puede llegar a complicar... tiempo al tiempo...), y que los disftrutes.

al ver la foto en pequeñita la vi muy oscuro, al abrirla pude ver que si, pero que al mismo tiempo esta bien defina. Creo que parte de esta oscuridad se encuadra muy bien al contexto junto con el camino sin destino. Esperemos que en tu camino pronto salga el sol. Un saludo. Gabriel.

i don't know which i like most , your photo or your note!
low light condition on the photo gives the image subdued mood. as always we wonder where the path is leading to but we will not know until we walk the path of our life. it is also when we reach the end of the road and look back we know where we came from and what we've achieved in our life.
