Esta imagen está tomada en la bella playa de Gijón a primera hora de día, cuando la gente aun no abarrota la arena es el mejor momento para disfrutar de este lugar, sentado en mi toalla, observe que la pose de esta chica era ideal para un primer plano, pero no solo la pose me llamo la atención, el color de piel, los colores que le rodeaban, etc, pero había un problema, el color de la arena era exactamente igual que su bronceado, y para mi gusto no destacaba, por eso decidí hacer una desaturacion parcial de ella y de las dos sombrillas del fondo, estas ultimas para estabilizar un poco la composición, el resultado me encanta, espero que a vosotros también os guste y no seáis demasiado duros, ya que últimamente está a debate este tipo de trabajos.

Mucha gente me pregunta como se hacen estas desaturaciones, hay varias formas de hacerlas explico una sencilla:

Una vez que la imagen está prepara para ser expuesta, se seleccionan las partes que van a permanecer con sus colores originales, después se selecciona a la inversa, o sea, el resto, ahora en el apartado de ajuste de Saturación del programa que utilicemos bajamos en nivel hasta llegar al blanco y negro, podremos observar que toda la imagen cambia de color excepto lo que tenemos seleccionado, por ultimo queda retocar los pequeños fallos de la selección y dejarlo a nuestro gusto, yo utilizo el programa Adobe Photoshop 8.

Good use of partial desaturation to place emphasis on the the girl, including the colours of the beach-umbrellas is a nice extra touch too. I'd like to see the orginal version as a workshop, before post-processing, just for comparison.

a mí personalmente no me gustan demasiado estos "experimentos", prefiero la foto en sus colores originales, aunque en este caso, después de leer tu nota, entiendo que tenías un problema de colores y tonos homogéneos, y que intentaste solucionarlo de esta forma. Te ha dado unos resultados agradables, no "canta" la mezcla de B y N y color parcial. Creo que es un excelente trabajo en postprocesado, y la foto está bonita.

This is a great image - with a definite improvement over the original with this black and white applied to it except for the woman. It really makes her standout well and her position in the overall scene is perfect. I'm not sure keeping the umbrella colours was necessary - but overall it's great! Me pasa un poco lo que a Josep, creo que me gusta más -a pesar de que es verdad lo que comentas en la nota, muy bien escrita por cierto- la foto original, pero vamos por partes. Técnicamente el trabajo es perfecto. Yo ya conocía la técnica y he jugado con ella sólo por curiosidad. Nunca conseguí un resultado tan bueno como este. No soy tampoco de los que piensan que la foto ha de ser tal cual sale de la cámara (eso no ha pasado nunca, ni siquiera con las películas de 35mm). Creo que el trabajo que has hecho tiene su interés puntual, como pedagógico, para alguna ocasión... pero al fin y al cabo son gustos personales.
Más allá de eso, la foto es muy buena, consigues lo que quieres, que es destacar sobradamente la figura principal, los colores son muy buenos. En resumen, creo que es una fotografía muy buena estupenda, bien encuadrada, con el foco donde debe estar... Así que, tanto por la técnica de PP, como por el ojo al disparar, enhorabuena! Esta claro que la foto final tiene mucho mas encanto que el original, pues como lo as señalado la arena no permite que la chica resalte como aqui.Y hay esta lo bueno que una vez visto el trabajo final parece evidente, pero habia que tener ese punto de vista para ver esta imagen en la toma.
me encanta el resultado.

That's a very clever selective saturation. The compo is already excellent and you've enhanced it. I like how you made the umbrella in the centre colorful, which I think helps balancing the image. Good work, I enjoy it.

me parece muy buena la composicion de la foto, pero evidentemente lo que la hace remarcable, es el haber añadido color a algunos elementos y transformar en By N el resto, dando protagonismo a aquellos que pretendes destacar.
Me gusta la idea, y queda muy bien reflejado.

Hi Jose, I'm fond of partially desaturated images and this one works very well. The people in the background add depth to the image although perhaps they are a little too sharp. I wonder whether it might be worth trying to blur them a little more in PS. The composition of the girl in the foreground is strong and you have handled the skin tones very well in the exposure and post-processing. Very nice. Stephen

Me encantan tu encuadre y tu trabajo de desaturacion muy bien realizado. El hecho de desaturar el resto de la foto favorece la impresion de solitud de la chica del primer plano mientras que el fondo es lleno de gente. La chica no se preocupa de ellos. El resultado sale muy bien.

Pues a mí me gusta aunque creo que este tipo de técnicas está en el límite de lo legal en TE. No obstante, en TrekLens, estas fotos son perfectamente admitidas. A mí me parece que aquí destacar aún más a la chica es lo adecuado y de alguna manera también enseña algo sobre España de una manera muy artístíca y original.

time has come to add my word to the long praise:D What is she doing alone like that on the beach? SHe is waiting for you to click, that's what she is doing...What skin color and what contrast it gives with the B/W...What strikes me is how flat you kept the contrast in the B/W part of the pic and how it looks good like that, probably because of the gold tones coming from the bottom. It was a nice touch to leave some color in the background to balance the composition. Her pose, the sharpness and the blur of the sand, it's all good!!

Hola Jose, a mi me gustan las desaturaciones parciales, no asi a mucha gente, mi sueño en este tipo de fotografia es, una modelo desnuda, pero en una posición que no descubra mucho su cuerpo, porque el protagonismo le quiero para una manzana grande con un rojo intenso, que supuestamente tendria que coger de la mano.
bueno vale de rollos.
esta imagen es sensacional porque has conseguido que el que vea la imagen, vea esta bronceada señorita, que de no ser por la desaturación parcial hubiera sido menos protagonista, veo un poco desenfocada la parte posterior, no se si lo hiciste a proposito ó no.
