Photographer's Note

Here is a photo of the Royal Castle at Drottningholm where the Swedish Royal family lives.

This is my first experiment with the channel mixer in PS to convert color photo into B&W, I read that it is far better than converting directly to greyscale. Quite ok I think.

Other PP: Crop, cloned out minor detail of a fence, noise reduction, USM.

I like your bright, white building, surrounded by grays. I would have cropped out the circular pool, but would have done it w/ going forward a bit, rather than darkroom cropping. Maybe you didn't have a choice. The format's perfect for this subject.

j'aime bien l'idée du format panoramique et du mode noir et blanc.
je pense que l'image gagnerait si on voyait le monument dans son entier et si les contrastes étaient moins violent !
il faudrait plus de nuances dans les gris et que le ciel se différencie du sol !
