Photographer's Note
This is an ostrich farm near Tierp/Gryttjom outside Uppsala. The ostriches are divided two in each enclosure. The farm also have a shop where they sell eggs, feathers, meat and handicraft.
Facts: The ostrich is the biggest bird known today and can be 2.7 meters (9 feet) high and have a weight of 155 kg (340 pounds). It's eggs are also the largest in the world with a length of 15 cm (6 inches) and a weight of 1.4 kg (3 pounds). Althought this bird cannot fly, it's a real sprinter with speeds up to 70 km/h (43 mph).
