Side view of Ponte dei Salti where daredevils jump of the bridge to Verzasca river. It is very popular place on sunny days. Not the most comfortable place to spread a blanket and lay down, but the view is certainly worth it.

Hello Kari,
This time we see much better how nicely designed the bridge is. The natural surroundings and the number of people in the foreground make this a very enjoyable photo. The good exposure is of course a great advantage.

You chose an excellent angle, we get a beautiful view on the arches of the bridge.

Even if it isn't good for relaxing it is a great spot for photography. A good photo of that spectacular old bridge.

so many people down there everybody
interested in something else...
sometimes one shot is one thousand
words...my personal opinion is that
the view is really eyecatching but
the place is too difficult to have
a rest...

Hello Kari,

I prefer to ease into the water in case it is 5c or colder and I go into shock. So no jumping off this bridge for me! Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hello Kari,
I really like that old bridge, its two arches create two waves in between the low cliffs along the river. The rocks in the foreground and the people enjoying the fine weather there look good as well.

What a beautiful shape of this high bridge with two large arches!
It was apparently quite warm and a lot of people had fun sunbathing or in the water, or just on top of the bridge.

A nice spot of the Ponte dei Salti which I went to Google-Map to see more of it, Kari, as I did not visit this location in my four visits to Switzerland.
A nice take with the river carving its way through the brown rocks, the bridge is beautifully stretches across.
46.2602, 8.836 on the map.

Hello Kari,
The rocks don't look too comfortable, but lots of people are still hanging out on them. I wonder if any of them decided to jump into the water... The bridge is really lovely, and I especially like the way it arches upwards in two spots. Very nice summer view. :-)

Hi Kari,
this photo has attracted my attention due to the presence of people.
It is quite an extraordinary view for me to see people in swimsuits having a sun bath in the mountains. Usually I relate this type of clothing with a beach but I suppose if you have no seaside in a country then you just relax wherever you can.
The bridge is amazing and the presence of people adds so much life and interest here.
