Here is an overview test of les Roulet, a small valley near La Chaux-de-Fonds. Sorry for my shadow, but the sun was behind me and I wanted to keep this composition. The light was very nice and beautiful sky with few clouds!
Sorry no large version because i have not uploading the right format ! Not easy with TE !!

Salut Bandit,

C'est bien connu, les bandits portent des chapeaux et on le voit distinctement dans ton ombre; conséquemment, je trouve que ça apporte un petit côté mystérieux et plutôt élégant, en tous cas, c'est mieux qu'une ombre anodine; on ne voit même pas la position typique du photographe.

J'adore les couleurs qui pétent, l'arbre en premier plan et le paysage qui s'étend sous les gros nuages automnaux.

Hello Fabien, neigbour of the day!
I think that the composition is excellent and that the shadow does not matter much, as it is not too disruptive. Great framing with the tree and its branches, wonderful clouds and great colours.

i like the composition of the picture, the contrast of blue and green and the perfect light and sharpness.
Though not wanted, i like also your shadow that gives a less serious tone to the whole scene.

Bonjour Fabien ,
Un splendide panorama . Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas une version large . Mais on aurait trop vu ton ombre :) (merci à André) . La lumière est superbe , et le tronc et le piquet du premier plan apporte une belle profondeur .

it is very good framed with the tree and the pole in front of you, the shadow doesn't disturb the picture. The colours and depth of the image are superb, fine photo work, TFS

So simple and so nice. Panoramic view is a great choice. Beautiful landscape, charming colours and well considered composition - this cut tree with branches on the right and above is a great idea.

Hello Fabs,

Je reconnais parfaitement l'endroit mais je ne vois pas d'ou a été prise la photographie.
La polarisation du ciel est agréable et apporte un joli contraste de couleurs vives.
Il est vrai qu'une version large aurait été sympa. J'ai essayé de cliquer mais non...

the large tree on the left really works as a way of natural framing, and the varying degree of lighting is very effective and pleasing as well.
