Photographer's Note
I'm really not sure about the composition with the cropped legs. I personally would have included their feet if only I had had the patience to wait two more seconds before pressing the shutter. But at 10mm I was almost jumping on their back, hence did it fast to avoid a public scandal in the republic of jolly private bankers. I still like how it came up and finally decided to share it with you. Taken also in one of the streets of Geneva's old town, just before lunch. These guys weren't heading for a kebab, that's a fact.

Absolutely beautiful, Gal, very graphic, superb crispness and tonality throughout. I am like you, am not sure about the composition, if the feet should or not be included, but because you have waited for one of them to pass, it is not troubling my eyes at all. In fact, perhaps it is better this way, gives more dynamism to that little street I also know from the time I visited Geneva, its beautiful old town. Very nice shot, harmonious and has an excellent framing too

Bonjour Gal, Very nice! Not the first time you have three of these guys in your shot, this one reminds me a bit of your 'Grand Mezel' (although there were 4 of them) and your 'after lunch'. I like you series about these 'serious men of Geneva', your tones are beautiful, and I like how you display old geneva in the same time.
The cropped feet was the first thing that I noticed, but I'm glad you shared this one with us, it doesn't really bother me, I can very well understand your impatience.

Nice shot, I like the way youve captured the old men who seem to be doing their 'old men business'. Nice clarity and sharpness in the photo as well.

I like this picture, the cropped leg doesn't bother me. DOF is perfect, and I can hear the banker's whisper.
Well done Gal,

What I like here, Gal, is the use of a good B&W for the 3 old men nicely suggestive placed in front of the converging perpsective point, nicely done and radiates something timeless by these old men.
Well done Gal, B&W perfect nostalgique here, crop is ok for me as one man yiu got totally, the other in the middle of action walking in to the frame joining the other.
World is small hé, people cross each other everywhere, thanks.

Hi Gal,
It´s afine B/W picture with a wide tonal range and it´s well composed, just a pity with the feet of the two men. From the thumbnail it reminded me of this picture.

I like the image alot, don't see nothing wrong with croped feet and feel that the image is well composed with all areas of the picture filled with something of interest, and the image has a "swiss bankers" feeling to it because of the old town architecture and obviously the trio.
I can't imagine how close you had to be to them to shoot it like this at 16mm equivalent, when I shoot at 27 I feel like breathing down poeple's neck, I am just glad one of the boys didn't suddenly stop, good chance you may have gotten one of them pregnant;-)))))
Using the translator I tried to understand what Luko was saying, I gather he wants something more special out of the hand position and I would concur, a small detail that could make a difference, and something that is to be brought up when a picture is uploaded from one of the better street photographers (you) on TE.

The cut feet do not bother me at all but it looks rather dark & a bit too small format.
But eventhough the composition is just great, no doubt it was yours from the thumbnail Gal, very recognizable.
And it's the kind of pictures I like to look and come back to look again, your photos are always puzzling me.

Rich old men are universally fascinating aren't they? I swear, I shot their picture last year when they came to visit Melbourne... :)
I think there's something missing but like the others I don't think it's the feet-- we cut heads, we cut feet, we cut whole bodies, such is the trend in contemporary photographic composition. But you do need something to justify owning *that* moment and not any other.

3 donkeys in heaven.
bon week

Well you've really got the measure of this new lens of yours. Amusing note, I wonder just what bankers DO do for fun?

Hello Gal
That's a very fine composition. Cropped legs are minor insteed of faboulous place you captured. I like the B&W tones, are fits perfect. Nice work.

nice mood here Gal, very soimple scene, but it looks good - the street is beautiful and those older guys fit there nicely, nice wide compo, maybe with their feet would be better though... nice work
