During a TE outing (6 Trek Earthians and company) to Château d'Oex for the 28th annual balloon festival.

This is a replica of the cathedral of St Gallen.

et bin en voila une avec une forme originale... on peut reconnaitre dans l'arrière-plan celle prise par Pascal.. :-)
ca a le plus belle effet et ne me fait que regretter plus mon absence...

Impressionnante, cette cathédrale volante. Cela me fait penser au dessins animés de Miyazaki comme "Le château dans le ciel"...

Mort de rire. Le point de vue est excellent. On dirait que tu as pris cette photo depuis une autre nacelle, à la même hauteur et pas très loin. Très belle image d'une mongolfière taillée sur mesure pour Papagolf.

Great catch, Nikki, this is the first mid-air Papagolfade® that I have seen on TE :) I like the bizarre angle in which the "church towers" are leaning towards each other above the delightful winter landscape, and the red smiley balloon in the back is a great detail to be included as well. Nice and fun photo.

J'ai essayé d'avoir le même cadrage que toi mais a chaque fois j'ai été gené (gens, arbres etc...) Tu as le ballon le plus original de ce festival. Le cadrage est très bien et le clown en arrière plan rend la photo amusante.

Bonjour Nikki,
Magnifique prise de vue de cette "papagolfade" et du clown à l'arrière. Les couleurs sont superbes le tout est très bien.
L'an passe je me suis rendue sur le site mais trop de vent ;-( . Près de chez moi à St Jean sur Richelieu (Québec) il y a aussi le festival des montgolfières au mois d'août avec bien sur des modèles différents.

Celle la je l'ai aussi mais ton cadrage est meilleur que le mien les couleurs et le contraste de la FP sont tops et j'adore le clown qui se marre en arriere plan, un seul petit truc tu as un peu de bruit dans le ciel, tu etais a combien en ISO ?

Excellent, même en Suisse, ils sont touchés par cette maladie (qui n'est pas si mauvaise que cela !).
Une cathédrale volante, c'est la 1ère fois que je vois cela :)
Bonne idée, juste la nacelle se confonds un peu trop avec le village.

What a great capture of this balloon! Definitely the most wacky shaped one, and I really like your framing, also the detail and contrast. I took quite a few shots of this flying church but the results weren't nearly so good - the colours and contrast were a bit drab.

Encore une qui était du voyage à Chateau-D'Oex? J'ai vu partiellement ce bâtiment sur la photo de Frederic, mais en entier c'est superbe. C'est vraiment fou ce qu'ils font avec ces mongolfières. Et derrière, il y a le rigolo de Susanna. Effectivemnt en étant beaucoup, on a plusieures points de repères.

je trouve que la distorsion est un peu forte, le chateau a une frome toute arrondie ;o).....dsl, pas marrante la blague. Sympa ce ballon, ca doit faire tout drole pour ceux qui ne s'y attendent pas. Tres belle image, belle couleurs (vive le D50 ;o))

This is really an amazing picture! At first, I didnt understand what made the building look so twisted, untill I enlarged and then...Very good POV that enable the viewer to see the magnitude of this giant air ballon! The red-faced balloon in the BG adds to this event's "silliness" and with the snow all around it create a dream like scene..Great capture!
