Tree at hilltop, a photo from Derbyshire, England

Photographer's Note

You can find this tree on a not so happening hill in Peak District, UK. Peak District is a national park which has a lot of walking paths and water reservoirs together with a hilliy terrain. I really enjoyed some of the views from these hills and the quiet walks over here. Some of the walks could be chellenging if you are not used to physical exercise like me.

I found this tree while on one of such nature walks. The shape of the tree atracted me to climb the hill and click this photo. I clicked this one shooting into the sun with under-exposure and used this tree to block some of the direct light.

Hi Arindam, i love the soft colours that you have put behind this tree, the exposure is perfect, and the angle at which you are looking up at the tree really does work well, lovely photograph!

Hello Arindam,

I like the shape of the tree with the great color of the sky as a backdrop. Excellent placement of the tree and hillside as the angle of slope and placement within the scene creates great balance in your image.

Branches and leaves creates pleasant patterns, blue works well as backdrop here...
