Photographer's Note

We recently had a holiday in Herefordshire near the Welsh border. We hired a farmhouse and most days, early morning and late evening rabbits hopped about the lawn, not a sight we see in our urban area. Easily frightened, quite rightly so, so I had to stand very still.

Hello Dave,
It's a very cute animal and in the main photo it poses perfectly. I had a few pet rabbits when I was about 8-9, but they soon grew from two to ten. When we gave them away after a year or so they probably ended up as dinners. I wouldn't have eaten them.

Funny title. How one could have this cute animal for a dinner! Charming picture. I remember that in Cambridge one copuld see rabits in many places.
