Photographer's Note

I have taken this photo during a recent trip to the city of London.
After a nice walk across the Neighborhood of Southwark, and of a tasteful lunch in a historical tavern of the 17th century, we cross the Tower Bridge, a really fantastic bridge.
The sight of the skyline of the city across its metallic structure was a real temptation for a photographer.

He tomado esta foto durante un reciente viaje a la ciudad de Londres.
Después de un bonito paseo a través del Barrio de Southwark, y de un almuerzo muy agradable en una taberna histórica del siglo XVII, cruzamos el Tower Bridge, un puente realmente fantástico.
La vista del skyline de la city a través de su estructura metálica era una verdadera tentación para un fotógrafo.

did you meet up with any TE members while you were in London?

one of the best features about bridges up close like this is seeing the many rivets...here we can see so many of them.

love seeing the modern architecture in the bg too.

Hello Josep,
It's a nice composition. You used the interesting architecture of the bridge very well as a frame for the equally interesting modern architecture across the river. I also like the dark blue tones of the bridge against the light blue sky.

Hola carinyo,
preciosa captura i punt de vista, emmarcat amb l'estructura tan característica i identificativa de la Tower Bridge, que li dóna color i vistositat a aquesta bonica foto i captura.
El cel és impressionant, amb els núvols de cotó a la part superior dreta deixen entrar la llum del sol, en el moment que caminem per el pont, així captant el moment meravellós del nostre viatge a Londres.
Els dos petits ocells reposant el vol sobre l'estructura, sembla que estan gaudin de l'esplèndit skyline de la ciutat... ells son la guinda del pastís, en aquest tir meravellós.
Captura excel·lent! amb colors fins i naturals... i una nitidesa excel·lent.
Felicitats! M'encanta aquest gran treball fotogràfic.

Here you showed your photographic eye with a neat framing of the symbols of new London with a prominent edifice of old London.
The idea is excellent and the execution is fantastic. Its not easy to have both the FG and BG be in sharp focus as you have done here...bravo!

well chosen the POV with the modern buildings with the Shard the most new to dominating on the backdrop of the image,as are seen perfect throughout out the 'hole' of the bridge.I like the clarity as the quality of the image with the details to are captured superb.

Foi uma boa ideia usar a lateral da ponte para enquadrar parte da cidade. Além de ser um enquadramento interessante, a ponte tem cores muito bonitas e também adicionou profundidade. Luz e nitidez muito boas.
