An interesting subject. I don't know what your uncropped image was like, but I would have liked to see the full face of the pump centered in the frame.

Well observed. The inside flowery weeds make it an interesting illustration of your title. Agree that cropping is not engaging. If you have a further access to it, try different angles. The subject worths it.
