Photographer's Note
Warkworth Castle, In Northumberland, standing on its hill over the River Coquet.
I took this shot one evening from the path that runs along the banks of the river. I had originally gone down hoping to photograph a Kingfisher I'd seen in the same location earlier in the week (hence the long lens) - the Kingfisher didn't show, but I was rewarded with a good warm light on the Castle and trees.
Not much post-processing - just adjusting levels, increasing saturation slightly, and adding the border.

Very good composition, wonderful light. The foreground is unsharp but I think it is ok here. Well done!

Very beautiful composition. The colors are very beautiful, especially in the reflection. The softness of the shot also works nicely here, though maybe I, personally, would still like it with a little more sharpness. Very nicely framed by the bank and tree. Very beautiful shot. Very soft and quiet and peaceful and light. Great job.
