I love it, one hardly would notice that these are waves of the sea, it gets more an abstract look and it's what I love in it,to me this black pole(?) in the front that is not covered by the waves add a lot to the image and make it special!

Quite amazing. It looks like mist rolling in. The two-tone impression (or practically blue monochrome) is fantastic. You could maybe even have cropped just a tiny bit lower at the top. Is that a rock sticking up in front to the left?

For me you catch really well the motion. I am also trying to learn the technique

Very well done, the effect looks more like smoke but is very pleasing to the eye. I like the blue cast too, is it natural? I think you also got a nice diagonal layout in the rock pattern and the edge in the back.

Clever effect Geordie chappie....the tall spikey stone breaks the smoothness of the other rocks shown nicely. Maybe a little too blue, but easily correctable within PS.
Good Job,

You got the idea and the technique but not enough underexposed. And there's a cyan colorcasting too. Your Fujifilm is pretty much like my Fuji S602. Its maximum aperture is F/8 and I'd imagined this scene at best be captured at F/11 with Cloudy Balance. Polarizer doesn't work much here. It usually work best when it is behind you or the angle is about 90 between the subject and the sun.

Wonderful - but I agree about the top right rock -I think you could crop this out to good effect making it a more square format pic. To my mind eye it makes the picture too heavy to the left and detracts from smooth transition of the flattened S like motion of the eye across the picture left to right, down towards the spiky rock and across to the right again. I think this is a marginal effect but worth running your eye over to make a decision. Whatever, this picture pulled me up and made me look! Great for a first attempt.
