Photographer's Note
I have used a similar idea for the title while presenting a statue of the queen on the same George Square. I cannot get over the fact that they used the black material for the statues. It makes the bird excrements so well pronounced and the birds seem to target the heads of the statues in particular. It seems the birds have no respect to statues and they don’t differentiate whether it is a queen or, like in this case, James Watt. Watt was an inventor most famous for his Watt steam engine (1776). As Watt developed the concept of horsepower, the SI unit of power, the watt, was named after him.
In Polish we call the hair of older people which lost their color rather grey than white but in English both white or grey are used.

Ciao Mariusz,I know Watt well having done electrotechnical studies and his name indicates the unit of measurement of power. Once again, the pigeons have wreaked havoc, maybe I already told you, but even the tent of my bar is targeted by these damned birds. On the other hand, swallows and turtledoves have just been born in the courtyard, despite being in the center of the village, my house is becoming a zoo .. hehe .. congratulations for the always perfect photo! Have a nice day,Luciano

Ha, ha, ha...
The title made lough out loud, Mariusz.
But must admit you managed to place the statue between other monuments in the main Glasgow square.
Good afternoon,

Hello Mariusz, a good composition where the statue of James Watt takes precedence over the tower and the column.
The sunlight illuminates all the scene.
Poor James Watt! No-one would have expected him to be the resting point for the birds.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz,
The other guy on top of the obelisk also has white hair.
And the statues on top of the tower are too far away to see what hair colour they have.
To put it politely, you can also speak of silver hair :)
BTW, some people look really good with silver hair.
Beautiful stained postcard of Glasgow.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
The birds in Glasgow don't have much respect for famous people (although I saw in London last weekend that Winston Churchill's hair had turned white as well). A great juxtaposition of the column, the statue and the tower of the city hall. Very well done.

Czesc Mariusz
pozdrawiam

Hello Mariusz
Good combination of sculpture in the foreground with architecture. Exposure is well done. Beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing.
In Persian, we call people with white and black hair "barley, wheat" . Of course, Google does not translate well.

looks like the statue was very well restored, but the birds spoiled everything. maybe some small needles in the top could to help, but won't be beautiful too.
excellent image, even the white hairs added a touch of humor here.

Hello Mariusz,
Majestic composition with three important monuments of the city, the statue of James Watt in the foreground, the tall column with another statue and the magnificent building in the background, which has a very beautiful tower, it is sad how the pigeons dirty everything in the cities and As they do not have predators, there are more and more and the authorities do nothing to limit their number, I really disgust them, they love to perch on the highest, in this case the head.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; They are managed perfectly, in this beautiful image.
Good work. I like it a lot.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.
