Photographer's Note

A lovingly cared for and aptly named beach hut on the shingle at Littlestone-on-sea on Romney Marsh in the English county of Kent.

Apologies for the watermark; some of my images posted on TE have been hi-jacked and are now being used commercially on other websites, without my permission. I am realistic enough to know it is impossible to stop people sharing images on other sites and I have no real issue with that………but to make money from them is another matter.

My anti-virus software dislikes the forums on TE! So please do not think I am rude if I do not answer any comments or questions raised…………

You illustrate perfectly that beauty can be rendred in simplicity.
Basic geometric structure, dual-color contrast and a glace attractive point and it's done.

Hello Brian, very nice image here. I love the colors in the composition. In my travels to the U.S. i've seen similar signs on people's homes but i never had the idea to photograph them. Well done.

Now that's observant and clever, Brian!

I like the picture within the picture to create a focal point for the eye and those bold colours and he way the hinge provides the hanging almost like a pub sign!

sorry, i've been a little late getting to the critiques, but for sure i havn't forgotten about you!!

you know what makes this photo for me...its the strong black contrast horizontal line. my eye goes directly to that black line as the focal point.
