Approaching mist, Brighstone Down, a photo from Isle of Wight, England

Photographer's Note

Two days ago I was driving through thick fog on the western side of the island where I live, but it occurred to me that if I drove up into the higher hillier areas of Brighstone I might get above the thick fog, so I did it and it happened!
The view above the fog was amazing and the colour was beautiful.

ND8 Graduated filter.

Hello, a very soft and romantic view with the mist and fog. What a lovely moment to capture with your camera. Your timing was right on the mark with the sun low in the sky and the filter helped out a lot with the brightness of the sun.
