Photographer's Note
Wikipedia describes Bangor as a seaside resort on the southern side of Belfast Lough. No doubt the resort status was more obvious before cheap flights to more Southern holiday destinations. I wonder how these buildings looked like in the 60's. And what were Frog's Strings and Things.

Good evening Kari,
Colorful facade in same style, stand out against the gray sky.
Wonder how decisions about which color painting designate to each house... so no repitition being with same color.
My best regards,
Ike

Hello Kari,
The blue house on the corner did not escape "Wick" and others who needed to tell the world they had been here, but otherwise these houses seem to be in a fairly good condition. They are certainly eye-catching with their carefully chosen individual colours. "Frog's strings and things" make me curious. I would have expected it to be a pub, but it doesn't quite look like that. It's an interesting photo in any case.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Kari
It looks very quiet and almost abandoned. A good photo of classic Irish colour.

Hello Kari, Nice colourful houses.Interesting windows, all in the same style. So you went to Northern Ireland. Indeed, Frog's String and Things sounds bizarre.
Best regards MAlgo

Hello Kari,
It was a grey and cloudy day, but luckily the façades added lots of bright colours. Those windows and doors are very nice as well and stand out so clearly from the colourful houses.

Hi Kari,
I see you have explored not only the Republic but also the Northern Ireland. It is very interesting to compare these two countries or two variations of the same country.
Bangor is probably not the most attractive destination there but you found a fantastic array of very colorful houses, so colorful that even the Irish weather didn't spoil the final effect,
Very well seen and captured,
M

Hi Kari
now this is just TOO good to pass up on. I bet if these were grey or beige it would look quite unappealing, yet give them some bright colors and it totally changes everything.
glad you posted this
cheers

Hi Kari,
The diagonal line of the street is giving dynamism to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the colorful houses. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

Hello Kari,
Great colors! In my opinion, it's better that there were no people in this scene, since the buildings have so much character themselves. I like the bit of grit, too, but only on the side. I hope the fronts of these buildings don't get defaced; they are so eye-catching. Take care!

kari
lovely the colors of the façade, I presume the name of this city came from the original in Wales.
take care
