Photographer's Note
How often do you take your battleship out for a walk?
Apparently he floated this remotely controlled model ship in a nearby pool and was now taking it back home.
After some searching on Wikipedia I think this is a model of HMS Norfolk, a County-class heavy cruiser of the Royal Navy. She served throughout the Second World War, where she was involved in the sinking of the German Navy's battleships Bismarck and Scharnhorst. She was commissioned in 1930 and sold for scrapping in 1950.

Hello Kari,
This is quite funny, and you snapped this very neatly at the right moment. It's one of those perfect photo opportunities that come unexpectedly and will disappear just as quickly if you don't react immediately. To me, searching for pictures like this is a lot more rewarding than taking photos of monuments.
Best wishes,
Gert

Your first sentence made me lough out loud, Kari.
But looking at details, this is a wonderful moment taken, this is a beautiful ship model built and the small troli looks as specifically built for this special purpose, taking the craft to water.
Fine photo outcome, cheers,
Ike

Hi Kari, very brilliant this trolley to transport the model of the ship brought to sail, these are lucky situations that you have to be ready to photograph and you did it very well. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Kari
Not what you expect to see on the streets of a town. Good timing to catch him and his "toy" (he may not like that word).
cheers

Hello Kari,
Must be a surprise to find a man walking his cruiser like that. Luckily you could grab your camera quickly and capture it or no one would have believed you if you'd said you'd seen someone walking down the street with battleship. Very well done.

Hello Kari,
A quirky scene of the old man enthusiastic about sailing his model ship and getting it to and from the eater safely. Tfs!

Hello Kari,
This is something we rarely see, and for that alone it's worth a photo. :-) The man is wheeling his ship like he would push a baby in a stroller, and the details on the ship itself are very impressive. Nice capture!
