Photographer's Note

This image was taken at Cobo Bay, not far from the company office I was visiting. Through out history this bay has seen invaders (mostly French as this island is very near France) and trade ships pass by. Now there is an airport on the island and ferry boats pull into port on the East of the island. This coast (North) seemed trafic free and had only gently waves and people enjoying the sand, water and sunset.

Nice evening shot Dan, I like the golden light playing on the rocks. This shot takes me back - I once visited Guernsey on a work related trip too, to demo some software to a bank. It was only a quick visit but we did manage to get half an hour to stroll on the sands (seemed a bit weird carrying a laptop) befere we went in. TFS.

Dan,
The low angle lighting here is great adding nice color to the rocks and sand. Nice composition using the path and tracks to lead the eye to the water. The colors are great with nice sharpness and detail.
