Colours of Seagrove, a photo from Isle of Wight, England

Photographer's Note

Here is another shot i took back in April of this year (2007).
It was during a warm spell that we had some beautiful misty mornings and this was one of them.
The sky was pink and orange just before sunrise but turned slightly more red as it rose above the horizon.
I chose Seagrove bay to be the spot to capture the beauty of the sunrise because it has various things that i could use in the composition, including these green seaweed covered rocks.
What a beautiful morning!!!

I used an ND8 Graduated filter

This is a nice sunrise shot! The long exposure worked great for you here giving the water a smooth appearance while placing the rest of the shot in sharp focus. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and DOF.
