To me this is a very good symbolic photo which shows a young Iranian aspiring to a future of brightness after emerging from a life of constraining darkness.Well done.

Très beau contraste, le regard de la fille est intéressant. La photo aurait pu être plus nette ? Beau cliché !

Well seen and captured. I really like the expression on her face. The simple colors are also very nice, black and white, and red and blue, contrast each other well. The B&W theme is also in her headcloth.

I love the colors (Blue, red and white) and the subject, the way she is looking. But for me it just get to much white. I try to make a workshop on this one.

Over exposure of the white wall makes the most impact on this shot in my eyes, it brings out the main object in a dramatic manner. great idea and execution!

Very nice, very suggestive!
Actually I disagree with pechepassion and seiliv: the white wall is very interesting for the composition! The strenghth of the girl's look in reinforced by the sharp contrast created by this wall.

Besides the visual aspect of the photo that I like a lot, you've captured that expression perfectly!
Great shot!

Excellent composition, interesting attitude of the subject. Could illustrate a reportage.
Lack detaisl in the wall, i did a workshop.
Still a good one.

An impish and whimsical look. Gleeful and cute. Good framing with the wall, great overall composition, textures and colours.

I love a picture that tells a story, and this one does! Great picture!

Excellent daily live capture! She has certainly an interesting body language, as well as a lovely and mysterious expression. You succeed quite well with the exposition, given the fact that a white wall is a highly reflective element… of the kind that usually fools the camera photometers. Regarding the composition, I’ll suggest a further cropping, as there’s too much empty space in the upper part of the image… See my workshop and tell me what you think. Good Work!

I've looked at this picture several times, and at first I didn't like it, but something about it kept me hooked , so I checked it again and again.
This is a great picture because it takes a rather boring composition and makes it great by over exposing the wall you've almost detached the window from it. She seems like she is peeping from nowhere, you don't understand where this window is. Very smart use of light and a very refreshing reference to the subject.

J'aime aussi beaucoup le regard de cette jeune personne. C'est une belle composition avec de bonne proportion. Je te propose une version avec plus de chaleur.

Wow! Surely your best work. I see passion and flirtation in a single shot. Wonderfully framed and exposed. I love it!

Amicalement\jr

I really enjoyed browsing through your portfolio, although I travelled a bit I have never been to Iran, and anyway your photos show a local side of life not usually accessible to the tourist or business visitor. Most impressive is the familiarity. In an age when there is so much division, rhetoric like 'The West' (how much I detest that expression, of course countries like Australia are included in the club!), Axis of Evil, War on Terror, etc., to say nothing of the vile hatred which spews from fanatics everywhere, it is refreshing to see images which remind that we are part one human family. Websites like this and contributors can show a small but clear way forward, the joining of humbler ideals, tolerance and respect through sharing photographs. Anyway, enough, because it's so complicated but this photo is a simple realisation of those sentiments. The beauty of the lady is apparent, the smile for a passer by, and the unforced femininity of her pose is infectious. The high key works well with just enough texture left in the wall to make sense of the white areas.
Excellent.

The overexposure works well here Roshan. A good example of breaking the rule; it draws the viewer to focus and stay on her rather than meandering all over.

Hi Roshanak, a real peach of a photo; nicely framed and such a nice, slightly enquiring, slightly flirtaceous expression - love it

excellent capture, the framing is great too, but perhaps you could have clipped a lot of the bottom part of the frame, making it somewhat symmetrical, but then I guess your shot had nothing to do with the framing, it was the moment right?
