Photographer's Note
Hi, I'm back.
I see this shot as an accident. I wanted yo take a good shot of the parachuter with his parachute, but, by mistake, I clicked the button before I put him in the frame. At first, I was very disappointed because it was my last frame in the roll, but when I saw the result I was very surprised.
This is the story, and this is the result.

How intriguing! How poetic! A parachute deciding to get a live of its own and flying all by itself, forever happy amongst the clouds and rainbows...
A really fascinationg composition, too!
I just created a new theme, Exploring shapes and colours. Would you agree to be part of it, Yitzhak, with this picture?
This invitation may not be quite formal, but we've all got to start somewhere, somehow... ;-)

Very nice simple composition... even if it was by accident. You framed very well the parachute. Bravo!

I think the guy underneath would only have been a disturbance here! Mistake or not it turned into a simple and strong graphical play with shapes. Welcome back - we missed you!

Interesting story and good result, the contrast is good on this grey sky, simple but very nice image, well done.

I'm reminded of your simple image of birds sitting on a wire Yitzhak, in the elegant simplicity of this capture. It leaves us with room to reflect on possiblities rather than answering all the questions for us. It is evocative, as well as creative. And you compose the image so well, placing it off to the side with great space its only companion. Well done.
I'm of the opinion that a less bold frame would work better with this delicate arc of color, perhaps the width to the parachute at its widest point. But that is simply one man's opinion, worth the paper it is not written on... ;-)

Nice abstract shot Yitzhak.
Sometimes one can make great shot with almost nothing.

They say the best things are achieved by accident... So maybe it's not the discovery of gravity, but it's a fortunate accident. As Dominique well defined it, it's a fine exploration of shapes and colors. Welcome back Itzik!

Great to see you back, Yitzhak ...
Just great. I could start to write about "negative space" and stuff, but I'll cut it short and just say I think it's wonderful. Well done.

Welcome back, Yitzhak. A great abstract shot. Very artistic. It's like something you might expect to see in a modern art gallery.

Yitzhak
More abstract and graph that this photograph, that does not exist! You were very lucky :o)
I like much the simplicity of the composition, this half rings in this rectangular format.
Congrats

Very minimalstic picture, you needed to place it a little bit into the frame, good picture.

Hi Yitzhak, heer we have a real avigur again, I should say. Even luck is with you. When you can't compose the things how you want them, you push your luck, and it works.
Very nice, just that little bit of colour and light on the parachute, and the arc are so beautiful. I realy works foe me, beautyful.
Already missed you

And this a happy accident! It came out very creative and curious. A mix of abstract with surreal! The POV is great with the frontal view, but the placement of the parachute in the composition is perfect.
Also like the PP. The sky is just de-saturated or real BW?

Hello Yitzhak ,
Very nice 'accidental' capture . Good clarity for a scanned image.
Nicely placed parachute in the picture with a lot of emptiness.
