jerusalem..the south side of the temple complex..the steps leading to the court of the gentiles..
cut into the bedrock of mount moriah.(temple mount) in places the steps are in a pattern which affords easy access with animals so that they wont damage their legs.
a damaged animal is not suitable for sacrifice.
here walked many people..some from the time of the dawn of christianity and one person in particular.
the bedrock has preserved history for us to walk on again
