Photographer's Note
This was shot from the roof of a building near by. The roof is very high and it's ahead from the biker, so it doesn't cast a shadow on him.
I used my maximum tele, and cropped it by 20%.
Take a look at "A Different Look At Israel" presentations

Very clever shot. I like the framing with the splash of colour of the cyclist with the rest of the picture almost monochrome. Nice.

This time the cyclist is the mere shadow of oneself. A great eye you had here.

C'est très réussi comme cliché, complètement nouveau. J'aime beaucoup la composition. Sans doute que le N&W suffirait ? En tous cas, bravo pour cet excellent exercice!

This is cool. To be honest from the thumbnail, i didn't even see the actual cyclist. Seeing this at a larger size makes all the difference.
BTW, I just saw this on the main page at PhotoSIG too, congrats Gilad.

Great shot Gilad. I've seen that idea somewhere, but here, the shadow of a biker is outstanding.
Perfect shot!! Very well done!

A good idea and very fine crop and composition. I like the little color spot in all the grey too.

this is a great photo! i'm very curious how the building your taking the picture from isn't ON TOP OF the bicyclist.

Hi Gilad,
I've been very fond of this kind of shot for a while now, and I have to say that this is one of the best I've seen. The composition could hardly be better; the vertical lines, and perpendicular angles are exactly what this scene requires to be at its most effective, and you've got it.
