Photographer's Note
Everyone who was in Petra knows this place. After a walk of 2km through the canyon this view gives you a real shock. You can see the first small piece of the marvelous treasury cut in the rocks.

Dag Luc,
Een zeer mooie contrast foto met de zwarte kader en dan het perfect licht en detailering van het gebouw.
Zeer fijne voorstelling, goed van kleur, iets niet alledaags.
Bedankt.
Prettig weekend,
John

This is WONDERFUL, Luc!
Your composing, and handling of the exposure contrasts to keep the foreground canyon walls dark AND not "blowing out" the brighter sunlit Treasury deserves a "high five!"
That "jagged (foreground) frame" is a strong defining shape for the beauty of the incredible effort of craftsmanship in creating the rock-cut structure it reveals.
(Petra is high on my "wish list" for travel, thanks to the quality of imagery like this to convey the dramatic nature it has!)
